If we look too long at our imperfections, we loose what was perfect about us.

yeah, i know, its bout time i updated... lol

uhhh yeah, today is my birthday, didnt really do much, just kinda stayed home and chilled... good enough for me... lol :)

yeah so have u ever felt like u werent certain u were doin the right thing and instead of seeking God and his word u decide to go and do it on your own, cuz yoru afraid when u open his word it will tell u exactly what to do and thats the exact same thing u dont want to do?... well yeah thats what i was doin and it sucked cuz i couldnt have a clear conscience.  and then while i was cleaning my room, i found some devotional book and as soon as i opened it i saw, "its time to move on"  that was the title.  and then i looked down to the area where i had underlined some time ago and this is what it said and all i could think was "wow, crap"! this is so God talkin to me... lol:

"When God has a mission for u, He'll do whatever it takes to get your there! Before He'll let you miss on your destiny, He'll permit trouble to uproot you.  In fact, you may be giong through certain difficulties right now becasue your're trying to stay where you're not supposed to be! you cant freeze-frame your past of relive it.  When God moves, you must learn to move with Him."

yeah i was like wow, so i thought i would share that with u guys cuz that is basically what i need to learn to do: move when God moves.

Praise Him

a lot of times i find it so easy to compain about something... i dont know why but i always seem to find something wrong with the food in the cafeteria or one of my teachers in school or even the weather outside. but im thankful that god is so gracious to me, becuase if it werent for him and the graces that he gives me everyday, i wouldnt even be able to compalin.

We take for granted the graces of God as if God is supposed to show us grace.

We see God's creation and think oh well its supposed to be here, as if we control the world and our lives.

We wake up in the morning and take for granted the breath and life God graciously gave us.

We look out the window and take for granted our ability to see all of God's beauty.

We go to class and listen to our teachers teach and take for granted our abiblity to hear and retain.

We leave class and walk to our next one and take for granted our ability to move and coordinate ourselves 

we then go to lunch and eat, and take for granted the food that is set before us as if it should always be there.

We talk and laugh with our friends and take for granted our ability to feel emotion and pleasure.

How foolish of us humans, we think of ourselves more highly than we are.

We are like a vapor; here for a little while and then vanishes away

but this all the more shows God's continual grace

For despite the fact that we take advantage of his grace...

He still continues to shower his grace on us daily

yeah, God is awsome

Life can be so painful at times. It can be so hard. Sometimes it seems like when one good thing happens, something bad has to follow... It seems as if that is some kind of wierd rule of life... but despite those rough times that makes one think that life is too hard to continue... one must think of the graces of God that even in those days that seem to be so dreadfully rough, god is being gracious to us and is helping us to get through those days.... God sees the whole picture and we can only see a small portion.

so rough times = trusting god
